There is this new trend in the Zentangle® world called #tranzending. It has been fun to watch what people were doing with it and I played with it as well. Some tiles were more successful than others but it is the journey that matters, no?
For those of you who have never heard of Tranzending, it is a way to use an old tile (or a new one if you want to) and add a layer of transparency on top of it so that it transcends the tile in showing multiple layers of depths of field.

Il y a une nouvelle technique dans le monde du Zentangle ces derniers temps qui est très intéressante. Cela s’appelle #tranzending ou en français on pourrait “tranzendant”. C’est fascinant de voir comment chacun retranscrit cette technique et je me suis bien amusée à l’essayer – certaines essais étant plus réussis que d’autres mais bon c’est le cheminement qui compte non?
Pour ceux qui n’ont pas encore entendu parler de cette technique c’est une manière de rajouter une nouvelle couche ou strate sur un carré Zentangle (en prenant un carré existant ou en en créant un nouveau). Cette nouvelle couche par transparence transcende ce qui existe déjà en rajoutant un ou plusieurs niveaux de profondeur de champs.
C’est vraiment impressionant comme changement et amusant aussi. Alors lancez-vous si vous ne l’avez pas déjà fait!
