It’s already March 2021, how time flies! I am launching today the first ever French challenge based on the Zentangle® Method * and it’s called TangleFolie pour la Francophonie. It takes place from March 11th to 20st, 2021
What is the Tanglefolie challenge about ?
Tanglefolie pour la Francophonie is a challenge for word lovers that takes you on a journey with a pen, pencil and paper. Words, tangles and if you feel like it, suggestions to accompany you on the road.
Download the PDF of the challenge in English here and in French here.
This challenge is based on an initiative of the French Ministry of Culture “Dis-moi dix mots” (Tell me ten words) which takes place every year at the time of the Week of the French language and Francophonie.
Accompanied by the French-speaking CZTs, we will publish each day of the challenge full of images and therefore I hope of inspirations!
Each day of the challenge, we will propose a word, a tangle and a prompt for the day: it’s up to you if you want to play with one, two or all three options.
Everything is possible!
If you are a beginner, we suggest that you choose what you think will work best for you
best for you. Maybe choose one WORD or TANGLE or SUGGESTION per day? Don’t try to do
to do everything if it seems too much.
This challenge is about fun!
What are the 10 words ?
Ten words proposed here, as many invitations to travel, to think, to enjoy, to be poetic…Let your imagination take over! This year theme is AIR.

* The Zentangle Method is a fun, relaxing and easy to learn method of creating beautiful images using basic elements like lines, dots and curves to draw patterns. These patterns are called Tangles and we draw them on a small piece of paper called a tile.
By practicing with the Zentangle method, many discover an increase in concentration and creativity as well as more self-confidence and an increased sense of well-being.
Zentangle is a trademark.
