About ArtsAmuse

Fostering Creativity
Inspiring Connections

ArtsAmuse exists because creativity has a way of steadying us and bringing us back to ourselves. If you’ve found your way here, you may be looking for a practice that feels gentle and grounding. Something that fits into your life without pressure. Something that lets you breathe a little more easily.

You might be returning to creativity after a long pause. You might be curious but unsure where to begin. You might simply want a moment that feels like yours.

Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here.

Where the practice begins

At ArtsAmuse, we draw one line at a time. We slow down. We notice what’s in front of us. You don’t need experience or confidence, just a bit of curiosity and a willingness to begin.

If that feels like what you’re looking for, the rest of this page will give you a sense of who I am and how I hold this space.

A practice that meets you where you are

The Zentangle® Method offers a simple structure to lean on and brings your creativity to life. Over time, the page becomes a place where you can pause and reconnect — not by trying harder, but by noticing what unfolds.

How it all began

I trained as an architect in France, drawn to lines and patterns. When I moved to the United States, I carried that love of structure with me, but I also felt a pull toward something more personal and more connected.

Discovering a different way to draw

In 2012, I discovered the Zentangle Method at a moment when I needed to slow down. Its simplicity, “one stroke at a time” ™,  felt like a breath. It helped me return to myself in a way I hadn’t expected.

Becoming the first CZT of France

A year later, I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher and the first CZT of France. Since then, I’ve taught in English and French, supported certification seminars as an interpreter and instructor, and shared this practice with people from many different backgrounds.  What continues to move me is how often someone arrives convinced they “can’t draw,” and leaves surprised by what they created — and by how they felt while creating it.

Creating ArtsAmuse

I founded ArtsAmuse to offer a calm, welcoming space where creativity feels accessible. A place where you can explore at your own rhythm, without comparison or perfectionism. A place where drawing becomes a way to innovate and to reconnect.

How I teach

My teaching is shaped by the Zentangle philosophy and by the Three Principles, which remind me that clarity and presence matter almost more than technique. Students often tell me they feel comfortable exploring in my classes, and I try to offer a space where their creativity and curiosity can unfold naturally.

A one‑woman studio

ArtsAmuse is just me for now. When you join a workshop or the Club, you’re learning directly with me, no layers, no scripts. Just a shared moment of creativity.

What matters here

  • Creativity belongs to everyone
  • Unexpected lines are part of the process
  • Slowing down helps us see more clearly
  • Teaching should feel kind and steady
  • Guidance should be clear and accessible
  • Community makes the experience richer

What supports this work

Here are a few highlights from my path, including some moments that have meant a lot to me:

  • Co‑host of TangledPod podcast, 35k downloads
  • Published in Flow magazine
  • More than a decade of teaching experience

A few small fun things about me

The club teaches me how to build on the basics to reach the next level. It allows me to practice regularly and establish a routine. I particularly appreciated: the enthusiastic approach, Juliette’s voice, the numerous documents, and the reflective propositions! The club is all about learning gently and gradually, and giving yourself a moment of relaxation every day.

I really like the club, working on Bijou formats over 4 days and the Friday “ round-up ”. I appreciate the bilingual videos, which encourage sharing and mingling between people from different countries, showing that there are no barriers. What’s more, the pace of the videos is adapted to everyone, as are the tangles themselves, and Juliette’s calm, steady voice invites us to relax and encourages us to explore what speaks to us deep down inside. You don’t just discover a tangle, a “drawing”, you also learn to discover yourself, to be kind to yourself and to let go of the result. And I also found it really interesting to have weeks with “themes” for reflection.

Thank you so much. Your service went way beyond what I imagined. I thought I’d have a translation of the seminar, but I had the feeling of being completely supported, before, during and after. Your advice, your tips and tricks, your patience were wonderful additions that went far beyond what I expected. A huge thank you for your generosity

The Club ArtsAmuse gave me the motivation to try and set up a zentangle routine to let my creativity flow and reconnect with myself. I was able to tangle a little every day (or almost every day). I particularly enjoyed tangling with Juliette, the Bijou-format tangles ( which are quick to do) and the opportunity to meet up and tangle together the patterns I’d learned during the week. The club is a caring, reassuring, pleasant place, suitable for all Zentangle levels. Personally, I love the bilingual aspect of the videos and the live sessions.
