A couple weeks ago, Kellie and I issued a TanglePod episode on curiosity (listen to the episode here). More recently I introduced a fun creative exercise playing with leftover wine or coffee (see the post here). Today, I want to show what can happen when you follow both approaches or maybe the same idea behind both posts/episode. The idea that if we keep our mind and our heart open, we can explore new paths, we can expand our creativity. Curiosity can take us on roads not traveled before.
As I was playing with leftover wine/coffee, I wondered what else I could play with to stain my Zentangle® tiles, where else would this process with unexpected result take me.
I was thinking about all this doing a very mundane chore of folding clean clothes in the laundry – you could say this is such an expected place to be inspired, right?
My eyes fell on some laundry products I had nearby and curiosity compelled me to try it out. Below is the result.

Plus récemment, j’ai publié un article présentant un exercice créatif amusant utilisant un reste de vin ou de café (lire l’article ici) Aujourd’hui je souhaite vous montrer comment un peu de curiosité peut vous ouvrir de nouveaux horizons.
Quand j’ai commencé à explorer les effets du café puis du vin sur les carrés Zentangle®, après un moment, je me suis demandée avec quoi d’autres je pourrais jouer.
Un jour où j’y réfléchissais tout en pliant mon linge propre – une activité si propice à inspirer la créativité, n’est-ce pas? Mon regard est tombé sur quelques produits ménagers et ma curiosité m’a poussé à explorer ce qui pouvait se passer si je les utilisais.

Quand (et comment) vous est-il arrivé de laisser votre curiosité, votre inspiration prendre vol, sans jugement, sans blocage de votre part, et vous emmener vers de nouveaux horizons de manière inattendue ?
